Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Our sincere thanks to everyone for all your support for a very successful 2014. It has been a pretty full year again with some key events and memorable moments for our team.
January - December
Executive coaching carried on throughout the year with CEOs to Barristers.
February
In Brisbane, we conducted programs on “high performing teams” for a global 10 billion dollar business that specialises in outsourcing amongst other things.
Held a very memorable leadership development workshop at Novotel Barossa Adelaide for 14 senior leaders of a boutique paper making company. It was an idyllic setting and of course the leadership retreat concluded with some high end wine tasting to cement the learnings.
March
India was a whirlwind visit with 3 cities in 7 days. Our meetings that took place in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Pune with major companies were extremely positive. I am looking forward to working on some very interesting leadership development projects in India in the coming year.
April - May
Consulted with a 6 billion dollar fast food company and conducted “high performing team” workshops for their 15 staff in a winery in the Hunter Valley, NSW. Drinks followed again of course to help to recover form this intense workshop.
June
Conducted a one day workshop on “high performing teams” for Crown Melbourne and also conducted one-on-one feedback for staff, which cemented the learnings practically.
June - July
USA started off in Las Vegas for a client meeting before Cirque de Soleil with Michael Jackson music. This was followed by a very memorable 18 hour drive with my lovely wife, from Vegas to the "Big Sky" (Montana) for a 5-day meditation retreat at a beautiful ranch equipped with Grizilly bears for those who go to far off the track... Then visits to New York and South Carolina for meetings with clients and to catch up with our son who is "living the dream" in USA.
July and September
Carried on working closely with the boutique paper company on “high performing teams”.
September - November
Worked with 25 senior leaders of a major global outsourcing company. Conducted talent management assessments and feedback to help enhance team and individual performance. Also conducted leadership development programs - supporting teams across Qld, NSW, WA and SA.
October
I facilitated a Think Tank session at the HR Leader’s Summit on the Gold Coast. The summit was attended by HR heads of Resources companies (mining, oil, gas, etc). The Think tank topic: “The Keys to Top Talent Attraction, Development and Maximisation” generated a lot of interesting discussions with valuable input from those attending.
Then it was off to conduct a 2-day workshop in Bali titled “Mastering Competency and Assessment”. The workshop was attended by 16 HR managers from a range of industries and from as far afield Belgium. Due to the success of this workshop, I have been invited to present the same workshop in January 2015 in Jakarta and then Kuala Lumpur.
December
Some important follow up meetings in Brisbane with delegates from the HR Leader’s Summit with leadership summit.
Looking back over 2014, it has been a challenging and exciting year for all of us at Mark Two, and it has been a time of further growth and development for our company.

Mastering Competency and Assessment
After his successful workshop in Bali in October, Mark Oliver has been invited to facilitate a 2 day advanced assessment course in Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta for key HR leaders. The courses are scheduled for late January 2015. Pario is a highly effective assessment tool.
