A key factor for an organisation to make a profit is the productivity of its workers.

Increasing staff engagement directly boosts productivity.

Yet world wide (and in Australia) only 1 in 5 workers are engaged so there is lots of scope for improving this factor.

Both the research and experience are clear - better leadership leads to higher engagement rates.

But we can only lead others to the extent we are self-aware. Not least because to lead others we have to build relationships, which requires us to be "aware of others" - and we can only be aware of others to the extent we are "aware of ourselves" (i.e. self-aware).

So enhancing the self-awareness of your managers directly links to increasing your profit!

Yet 100 million assessments conducted worldwide by Korn Ferry reveal that 80% of managers fail to see their own skills and deficiencies clearly. This is the hallmark of a lack of self-awareness.

If you want to make sure you are helping your managers increase your profit then you must help them increase their self-awareness.

This is something that we at MarkTwo Consulting specialise in doing.
