Sleep is of course important for physical health, with poor sleep linked to heart disease and a number of cancers. Lack of sleep can also lead to poorer mental health. Recent research has shown that sleeping well even doubles the efficacy of a vaccination. There is research showing that whether we are a morning or evening person is very much influenced by our genes, and you can do a gene test to find out your disposition.
