Background and Experience
Simon Tedstone is a highly experienced Organisation Development Consultant with a proven ability to translate organisational leadership capacity and potential into quantifiable data to be used strategically. Complementing his considerable experience, he has completed a thesis reviewing leadership behaviours essential to success in dynamic and complex environments. He has also written an article accepted for publication at the 2008 Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM) conference. He has worked internationally for a range of clients.
Simon's seventeen years of consulting and industry experience have given him a strong business acumen. He has been responsible for a team with a $100 million dollar budget at Citibank through to managing million dollar global organisational development projects with a major London based investment bank.
Over the last ten years Simon has designed and delivered an array of training courses, conducted coaching sessions and facilitated work groups. In addition to this Simon has developed a speciality in the assessment and development of leadership capability for individuals, teams and organisations. This is often used to facilitate strategic change throughout an organisation.
Simon believes all human resource interventions should support the strategic direction of the company to drive sustainable profit. He has worked in Australasia, North America and Europe in a variety of industry sectors.
Simon is married with three children. He enjoys competitive yacht racing at national level; he has previously been a coach of the Victorian State Junior team for two years and has represented the State of Victoria six times in national competition.
