Mark has run leadership development and assessment courses since 1986 - first in the military (including designing and implementing an innovative escape and evasion course on Lantau Island, Hong Kong) and then in commercial environment from 1993. Over the last 15 years he has designed and facilitated  both advanced leadership development and assess the assessor assessment courses for Australian 'Top 100' and American 'Fortune 500' companies in Australasia, USA, China, Singapore and India, for all levels from the CEO, and their Executive team, down to first line leaders. He has also designed and led job analyses for a range of global, as well as SME, organisations at all levels.

Mark presents, and has been interviewed on radio and published in the media such as the AGE on matters to do with leadership capability, selection, recruitment and assessment, and is an executive coach to a few of Australia's leading companies. He is accredited in many organizational psychology instruments, has three degrees from Cambridge University, and is a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute and Life Fellow of the Australian Institute of Professional Facilitators.

Mark is also qualified in the more unusual areas of Jungle Warfare and Arrest and Restraints Instructor, Helicopter Abseiling Dispatcher, and Range Firing and Demolitions Officer. His philosophical book on journeys through serious illness, remote Himalayan villages and the real meaning of leadership was published in 2003.
